Manage and develop a mid and/or moderately complex group of agency assignments.
Optimize growth potential of a core group of Travelers independent agents while prospecting and appointing new agencies.
Exceed or meet year over year growth and profit objectives; utilize Travelers sales tools within a consultative sales framework.
Develop competitor intelligence and collaborate with regional, home office, and business center teammates on product, pricing, and agency management decisions.
Provide agent support: apply agency diagnostics and segmentation, lead presentations and appointments, facilitate workshops, and identify cross-sell opportunities.
Influence the sale: coach and influence agents to quote and sell Travelers products and execute territory sales strategy.
Complete strategic marketing plans and build best practices regarding Agency Operations; diagnose agencies' interests and ability to grow business.
Recommend business solutions and programs, direct customer service issues to appropriate resources and elevate unresolved matters.
Validate data for strategic market changes and identify book transfer opportunities; negotiate transfer commitment and ensure successful outcomes.
Assist agents with systems/platform issues, provide training, and coordinate with trainers to ensure agency staff are fully trained.
Stay current on product and pricing changes and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum of three years of professional and influential work experience required.
Five year of sales experience or insurance industry experience preferred.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of Agency Diagnostics.
Advanced ability to Influence the Sale.

Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Seattle, Everett, or Bellevue, Washington area.
Ability to assist agents with Travelers' computer systems and PIs platform and provide training as needed.
