About the role
- Proactively identify opportunities and problems through root cause analysis, active listening, and engagement with stakeholders that span across multiple teams and/or processes.
- Identify trends and gather results to recommend process improvement opportunities and initiate and implement low/medium complexity initiatives.
- Understand and support the business strategy of your supported organization(s) to successfully implement solutions and execute assigned initiatives and implementations.
- Own and influence the end-to-end execution of the operational components of multiple/mid complexity initiatives, including the management, scheduling, implementation, risk management, and maintenance.
- Assess tools and procedures for optimal process efficiency and identify areas of automation.
- Facilitate workflow updates and design sessions to ensure system readiness and that the tools and procedures are appropriate.
- Will own and optimize performance for GOS&D’s Endorsement Capability
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 4 years of experience.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma and Agile methodology.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle shifting priorities.
- Ability to present yourself as a leader and manage initiatives and others either directly or informally.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to think strategically and use judgement to resolve issues as they arise.
- Strong data analysis to provide insights and recommendations.
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal partners.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and consult on projects and present information effectively.
- 3 years of experience in operations, collaborating on projects, or working in a related field.
