About the role
- Responsible for overall strategic management of the agency plant and primary responsibility for marketing strategy and business development driving profitable growth for assigned territory.
- Manage others (Regional Sales Directors, Sr. SEs, SEs); hiring, coaching, mentoring, performance management.
- Develop strong distribution network for PI products through independent agency system; explore alternative distribution channels.
- Drive development and execution of strategies to produce profitable Personal Insurance business; develop sales and distribution strategy.
- Monitor and influence regulatory and competitive environment; provide input into rates and product pricing.
- Ensure processes to define, monitor and measure key results of PI sales distribution staff; make data-based adjustments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of insurance sales experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of management experience.
- Must be able to relocate (to Denver, Colorado or Phoenix, Arizona area).
- Experience in agency sales, product management, underwriting and operations is preferred.
- Experience in Personal Insurance Lines is preferred.
- BA/BS degree in Sales/marketing preferred.
