About the role
- Marketing, prospecting, selling, and managing commercial lines insurance products and client relationships.
- Execution of our comprehensive sales process which includes successful prospecting, planning, and gaining new business.
- Actively cross-sell full range of insurance products.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales and cross-sales goals.
- Actively call on identified target industry prospects to lead new business development and client acquisition efforts.
- Meet with prospective clients to obtain information about their current business model and their insurance needs for the future.
- Develop proposals and make recommendations.
- Provide insurance counseling, giving advice on coverage levels, insurance types, explaining terms, etc.
- Must have effective working relationships with our service associates.
Requirements
- College degree
- Previous success in a sales role essential
- Must acquire Insurance license within 3 months of employment (employer paid)
