About the role

  • Work as part of a high-performing Commercial Advisory team delivering enterprise-wide commercial strategy and long-range revenue planning.
  • Lead the development of enterprise commercial frameworks, policies and strategic initiatives - partnering closely with executives, government stakeholders, technical teams and external partners to enable new revenue opportunities, strengthen financial sustainability and support Government priorities.
  • Lead, influence and pioneer new commercial propositions, revenue models and go-to-market strategies in a complex, fast-moving public sector environment.
  • Lead and develop a team of analysts to deliver relevant, high-quality advice for internal customers and senior decision-makers.

Requirements

  • Post-graduate qualifications (eg. MBA, CA, CPA) and/or transport sector experience will be highly regarded.
  • Your commercial acumen, strategic thinking and stakeholder influence - formed across consulting, large corporate, or government environments - will see you excel in navigating ambiguity, solving complex problems and driving enterprise-level outcomes.
  • Proven ability to build compelling propositions, challenge assumptions, and work flexibly across disciplines to deliver sustainable revenue growth, improved commercial outcomes and value for money.
  • Experienced in consulting or advisory settings, you are comfortable working with analysts on financial models, collaborating with legal, product, technology and operations teams to assess market viability.
