About the role
- Lead end-to-end transport asset management
- Embed consistent lifecycle thinking, performance assurance and risk-based decision-making across the portfolio
- Oversee the development pipeline
- Strengthen reporting, quality assurance and governance to support transparent prioritisation and effective delivery
- Provide authoritative advice to senior leaders, central agencies and Ministers’ offices
- Manage risk in a complex, high-stakes environment
Requirements
- Senior executive with deep capability in strategic asset management and large-scale infrastructure environments
- Experience in end-to-end lifecycle management, prioritisation and investment decision-making
- Background in transport, utilities, aviation, defence, energy or other complex infrastructure systems
- Strong executive judgement and influencing skills at senior levels
- Capability to guide organisations through reform
- Ability to work effectively with contractor-led delivery environments and internal workforces
- Engaged people leader who can lift capability and create high-performing teams.
