About the role

  • Provide strategic, operational, and specialist leadership to manage a portfolio of priority Road Safety Programs
  • Support the full lifecycle of program and project services from design to delivery through monitoring and acquittal
  • Ensure timely and effective delivery of outcomes and strategic alignment to broader TfNSW road safety objectives
  • Drive financial sustainability and operational effectiveness by overseeing program governance, compliance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of grant funding programs from inception to acquittal

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • Proven operational experience in leading complex multi-stakeholder road safety or transport safety programs at a strategic and operational level
  • Success in the delivery of large and complex projects and programs, on time and within budget
  • Strong understanding of program and project management frameworks, including compliance with funding and reporting requirements
  • Ability to manage risks, issues, and changes effectively within a portfolio environment
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where delivery on tight deadlines is critical
  • Self-starter who knows how to build strong relationships, collaborate and communicate effectively to drive outcomes
