About the role

  • Work closely with internal teams and external clients to understand their staffing needs for independent contractors.
  • Utilize various recruiting platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, networks, etc.) to find qualified 1099 talent.
  • Assess candidates qualifications, experience, and cultural fit for the role.
  • Guide 1099 contractors through the hiring process, from offer to contract execution, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Maintain regular communication with 1099 talent, ensuring they’re satisfied with their assignments and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Ensure that 1099 contractors understand and comply with all tax, legal, and compliance requirements associated with independent contractor work.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and compensation benchmarks for 1099 talent across different sectors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Desired)
  • Minimum of 2 years of High-Volume Recruiting
  • Previous Contractor (1099) Recruiting experience
  • Previous recruiting through third party agencies experience preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office products: Word, Power Point, Excel
  • Proficient in Workday Recruiting
  • Strong experience with candidate sourcing using internet tools such as LinkedIn, job boards, social media and search engines
