About the role
- The Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle sourcing, recruiting, and placement of qualified drivers to fill open orders for TransForce customers.
- Utilize various internal and external sources to help customers find the best candidates.
- Collaborate with varying levels of TransForce team members and customer resources.
- Build relationships within local communities to make the TransForce brand a recognizable leader for driving positions.
- Generate reports and maintain recruiting and candidate data in all company systems.
- Maintain daily contact with drivers while “in processing” and thereafter to focus on those at high risk for turnover.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2 years of successful recruiting experience desired.
- Sales or customer service experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of general recruiting fundamentals.
- General knowledge of applicable employment and transportation regulations.
- Requires superior relationship building skills, strong communications, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiencies in Microsoft Office and web-based software.
