About the role
- Assist with the day-to-day compliance in line with regulatory and legal requirements and the company’s policies and procedures
- Performing risk assessments in relation to compliance risks
- Assist in the drafting of compliance related reports to the authorities (FCA)
- Draft, modify and implement the company's policies, procedures and handbooks, as needed to reflect industry best practices, the evolving regulatory environment and changes to the business
- Research, identify and report on a wide variety of compliance related matters due to the introduction of new legislation or best practices
- Maintain oversight of the relevant Compliance registers
- Assist in the function’s strategic planning and decision making
- Liaise with auditors/examiners during compliance audits/examinations as assigned
- Perform desk-based reviews to the company’s functions, systems and procedures as per the Company’s Compliance Monitoring Program
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Economics or any other relevant field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-performance environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong drive for excellence and a continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
