About the role
- Lead and scale the sales recruiting function, owning hiring outcomes across Account Executive, SDR, ADR/BDR, Sales Engineering, and Sales Leadership roles.
- Proactively partner with Sales and Revenue Leadership to translate headcount plans, territory strategy, and growth targets into clear hiring priorities and recruiting roadmaps.
- Set sourcing strategy and personally contribute to high impact searches by mapping competitors, identifying top performing sales teams, and engaging proven quota carrying and sales management talent.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of sales recruiters, establishing best practices for outbound sourcing, candidate assessment, pipeline management, and stakeholder communication.
- Define and uphold a consistent sales hiring bar by implementing structured interview frameworks focused on quota attainment, deal complexity, leadership capability, and go to market experience.
- Own end to end sales recruiting performance including pipeline health, time to fill, quality of hire, and candidate experience, continuously optimizing processes and tools.
- Partner cross functionally with Revenue Operations, People, and Finance to align hiring plans with forecasting, compensation structures, and onboarding readiness.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to sales leaders, providing market intelligence, talent insights, and recommendations that inform org design and long term growth decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Five or more years of recruitment experience, with a strong focus on Account Executive, SDR, ADR/BDR, Sales Engineering, and Sales Leadership roles.
- At least three years of experience leading, managing, or mentoring recruiters, with direct accountability for team performance, hiring outcomes, and pipeline health.
- Proven ability to partner effectively with Sales and Revenue leaders to translate growth targets, territory models, and headcount plans into executable recruiting strategies.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales motions and go to market models, including outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, deal cycles, quota structures, and sales compensation fundamentals.
- Ability to assess sales talent and sales leaders using objective indicators such as quota attainment, deal size, sales cycle complexity, leadership effectiveness, and consistency of results.
- Exceptional communication, influence, and relationship building skills, with the ability to operate as a trusted advisor to sales leadership and cross functional stakeholders.
- Proficiency with modern recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, and analytics, and comfort operating in fast paced, high volume sales hiring environments.
