People Operations

• Provide the necessary administrative and operational support to the People and Culture Team.
• Prepare and submit accurate monthly payroll instructions for Ireland, Northern Ireland, and assignee staff.
• Manage the HR inbox; provide timely and accurate advice to queries and requests within agreed SLAs to ensure positive stakeholder experience.
• Be the organisational “go-to” function in relation to the HR system Trócaire People and plays a key role in the coordinating the system data management and process implementation.
• Maintain, update and report on the HR system (Trócaire People) and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Provide administrative support supporting an excellent employee experience across a range of HR processes including recruitment, on boarding, internal move and leaver processes, payroll, sick leave, performance management, learning and development, invoices processing.
• Provide guidance and process employee leave arrangements and schemes e.g. maternity, paternity, parental, flexible working.
• Maintain organisational charts.
• Keep up-to-date with HR policies and employment legislation in order to provide current and accurate information to employees and manage updates to the central HR policy repository.
• Actively contribute to the continuous development of the People and Culture Operations team by offering suggestions and feedback ensuring effective and efficient administrative processes.
• Support the HR Team on all HR initiatives and projects.
• Provide cover and assistance to the Recruitment and People and Culture Operations Assistant and other roles during leave and as required.
• Provide administrative support to the People and Culture Director, Managers and Partners as required.
• Any other tasks that may be assigned based on organisational requirements and change.

People & Culture Operations Assistant – Maternity Cover

• The Global P&C Partner is a core team member of the P&C Division supporting different teams globally.
• Working with the Global P&C Manager, the Global P&C Partner will take a leading role in capacity building, supporting and strengthening Trócaire by delivering innovative human resources best practice through recognised standards of excellence and by providing strong and responsive support to managers for effective people management.
• This role is supporting teams and managers distributed in different Trócaire offices across the world with the ability to adapt and shift the support from team to team based on the need.
• The role will respond to different operational and strategic demands of these teams and deliver a number of key strategic initiatives from the Trócaire People Strategy including projects related to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), Talent Management, Wellbeing and Employee Engagement.
• The role will report to the Global P&C Manager and work within a team of People & Culture professionals.
• The role can be based in our office in Maynooth, Co. Kildare or Belfast.

Global People & Culture Partner

Compliance

• Lead on key projects such as the rollout of Trócaire’s Risk Management Framework.
• Strengthen business continuity practices.
• Provide vital support to governance processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory, governance and donor requirements.
• Work with colleagues across the organisation in a supportive and collaborative team.
• Help ensure Trócaire continues to deliver its mission of tackling poverty and injustice around the world.

Standards and Compliance Lead – Project and Governance

Account Manager

• Lead and support capacity building of Trócaire’s local partners, ensuring organisational systems, skills, and structures to deliver sustainable programmes
• Lead partner assessments and develop tailored capacity-building action plans
• Deliver high-quality training, mentoring, workshops, coaching and ongoing feedback to partners
• Oversee design and delivery of capacity strengthening projects, ensuring timely implementation, accurate budgeting, and donor compliance
• Coordinate closely with Programme, Finance, and MEAL teams to align activities, track results, and produce quality reports
• Monitor progress against action plans, address challenges proactively, and incorporate lessons into future planning
• Document outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices; maintain accessible resources and documentation
• Facilitate reflection and learning across teams and partners, including peer exchanges, case studies, and review workshops
• Represent Trócaire and act as focal point for capacity strengthening with partners and external stakeholders

Capacity Strengthening Coordinator, Partnerships

Manager

• Provide strategic direction and technical advice on all aspects of MEAL for Trócaire’s programming
• Lead the design and implementation of MEAL frameworks, indicators, and tools across programmes and grants
• Provide technical support, training, and mentoring to staff and local partners on monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning
• Oversee quality data collection, analysis, and reporting, ensuring compliance with donor requirements
• Support programme learning through reviews, evaluations, and knowledge sharing
• Strengthen partner capacity in results-based management, data analysis, and ethical M&E practices
• Represent Trócaire in MEAL, partnership, and localisation networks
• Lead development and management of evaluations, baselines, and research studies using qualitative and quantitative methodologies
• Promote documentation and dissemination of lessons learned and innovative practices
• Contribute to proposal design, theories of change, and MEAL frameworks to support institutional funding
