About the role

  • Lead and develop TPMs responsible for programs spanning functional safety, SOTIF, compute platforms, and foundational infrastructure
  • Drive best practices in program planning, execution, dependency management, risk mitigation, and change management for safety-critical, multi-disciplinary initiatives
  • Own planning and execution for your team’s portion of the Safety & Compute Platform technology roadmap
  • Partner closely with engineering, safety, autonomy, systems, validation, hardware, and infrastructure leaders to align execution with corporate milestones and safety goals
  • Ensure dependencies and tradeoffs across hardware, software, compute, and safety initiatives are clearly understood and actively managed
  • Enable predictable delivery by proactively identifying risks, resourcing gaps, and integration challenges
  • Provide clear, executive-ready communication on roadmap health, delivery status, safety implications, and key risks
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within your TPM team

Requirements

  • Experience coaching and developing a team of technical product, program, or project managers, ideally within platform, infrastructure, or safety-critical domains
  • A strong track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional programs involving complex technical and organizational dependencies
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or managing initiatives involving Functional Safety (FuSa), SOTIF, and Safety Case development and integration
  • Ability to drive alignment and execution for safety-critical programs, ensuring safety requirements are traceable, integrated into roadmaps, and aligned with technical delivery
  • Familiarity with compute platform development, validation, and verification workflows, including experience coordinating or supporting Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments
  • Experience working effectively with executives and senior leaders across engineering, safety, autonomy, systems, and infrastructure organizations
  • Proven ability to establish and scale program management best practices, including dependency tracking, risk management, and change control
  • Strong understanding of dependency, risk, and change management in complex, safety- and performance-driven environments
  • Excellent active listening, influence, and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate tradeoffs across safety, technology, and business priorities
  • Ability to deliver clear, concise, and structured communication tailored to audiences ranging from engineers to executives
  • A desire to continue growing technical depth in safety-driven development, compute platforms, and system-level execution
  • Experience in the Autonomous Vehicle, robotics, or safety-critical systems industry
  • Experience launching or managing cross-functional programs with rigorous safety, regulatory, or reliability requirements
  • Familiarity with safety standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 26262, SOTIF)
