About the role

  • This is an opportunity to study for a Level 4 qualification while earning a salary and gaining practical skills by working as a member of the Housing Standards Team as an Apprentice Regulatory Compliance Officer.
  • You will study with a recognised provider of the Level 4 Apprenticeship (Equivalent educational level: Higher National Certificate).
  • This will include ensuring Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) are compliant with regulations.
  • Landlords are fully compliant and that the incoming provisions in the Renters Rights Bill are met.
  • Building on the taught knowledge of the course, you will develop the practical skills of a Regulatory Compliance Officer, while learning from and supporting experienced professionals.
  • It will be a condition of any employment offer that you are accepted onto the Level 4 RCO apprenticeship course.

Requirements

  • Able to cope with the academic demands of the study while working to develop their practical skills.
  • Motivated and organised, with good time management skills and an ability to communicate effectively.
  • An investigative and analytical approach.
  • Strong IT skills and be able to produce clear reports and case records.
  • Someone who represents our values and behaviours.
