About the role
- Collaborate with various company departments to collect information and documents necessary for filing lawsuits or presenting defenses;
- Identify and contact company representatives (prepostos) and witnesses to ensure appropriate support in legal proceedings;
- Work together with the Human Resources and Occupational Safety departments, providing both advisory and litigation support on labor/employment matters;
- Maintain ongoing communication with external law firms representing the Company’s interests, providing support, requesting reports and monitoring the progress of cases;
- Draft and review documents such as contracts, amendments, notifications, counter-notifications, debt acknowledgment instruments, powers of attorney, letters of representation and other legal documents;
- Receive and organize signed documents, ensuring proper filing in both the digital system and physical folders in accordance with internal document management policies;
- Be responsible for the department’s administrative routines, such as producing graphical reports in Excel and PowerPoint, requesting payments, and preparing letters of representation, powers of attorney and other administrative documents;
- Act as the company’s representative (preposto) at civil and labor hearings.
Requirements
- Law degree (Bachelor of Laws)
- Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
