About the role

  • Develop, maintain, and migrate Tonies shop infrastructure
  • Ensure a robust backend platform offering RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Ensure the reliability of services - 24/7, 365 days a year
  • Collaborate in a cross-functional team to deliver seamless services
  • Work closely with the Product Manager, UXer, and specialized engineers for user experience in web and app

Requirements

  • Fluent in at least two programming languages (ideally including TypeScript)
  • Experience with Commercetools and/or Shopify (Headless) is a big plus
  • Some knowledge of PHP and Symfony is helpful
  • Familiar with event-driven architectures
  • APIs (REST or GraphQL)
  • Code that is lean, well-structured, and easy to understand
  • Experience working with Git and GitLab
  • Importance on automated tests, CI/CD, and observability
  • Comfortable communicating in English in a professional work environment
  • Collaboration in a cross-functional team (backend, frontend, app, UX)
  • Passion for software engineering and continuous learning
