About the role
- Employee Lifecycle Management: You ensure an excellent experience for our employees. You handle all administrative steps – from the initial contract and changes during employment to respectful offboarding and the preparation of employment references.
- Payroll & Benefits: You keep the numbers under control. You maintain all salary and benefit data and work closely with our external partners on payroll preparation. Your goal: 100% accuracy and punctuality.
- Onboarding Support: You share responsibility for a perfect start at tonies. You coordinate our buddy program and newcomer meetings so that new Tonies feel welcome from day one.
- HR Systems & Data Quality: As a power user of our HRIS (Personio), you ensure our digital personnel files are always up to date and comply with all legal requirements.
- Processes & Innovation: You enjoy improving things. You question existing workflows, reduce manual effort, and leverage automation and AI to make our work more efficient.
- Knowledge Management: You make sure important information is easy to find. You expand our self-service resources so the team can find answers to HR questions quickly and independently.
Requirements
- HR background: You bring solid experience in HR administration and are well versed in labor law and employee lifecycle processes.
- Confidence in Payroll: Terms like social security and company pension scheme (bAV) are familiar to you; you know what matters in payroll processing.
- Interest in Tech & Tools: You enjoy working with modern HR systems. If you already know Personio, that’s a plus — otherwise you quickly learn new tools.
- Structured & Composed: Even when things get busy, you keep an overview. You work very conscientiously and can confidently juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Empathy & Service Mindset: You see yourself as an internal service provider and enjoy supporting colleagues competently.
- Problem-Solver Mentality: You don’t wait — you proactively tackle issues and enjoy continuously improving processes.
- Communication: As we work internationally, you communicate confidently in German and English.
