• Develop deep expertise in Tonal.
• Help Customers on a daily basis and represent the Tonal brand over a variety of channels such as phone, email, face to face, and social media
• Deliver high-quality work, take issues on as your own, and commit to ongoing learning and development
• Capture feedback from frontline interactions and recommend resolutions
• Make contributions towards content, including but not limited to knowledge base content, CRM template responses, troubleshooting guides, and messaging proposals
• Test new product updates and provide user feedback
• Provide feedback on functions and effectiveness of the Advocate teams
• Cover flexible hours. This position includes some on-call work, including nights and weekends

Backend Engineer

• Impact and contribute to the development of major software projects for our backend services
• Collaborate with our tightly integrated software, hardware and content teams to continually evolve a unique, consumer-oriented fitness product
• Work closely with product team to clarify requirements and develop designs for new features
• Implement, test, deploy and monitor software for our cloud-based backend microservices
• Write and review clean, secure and testable code with a focus on maintainability, scalability and performance
• Develop and support cloud-based big data pipelines
• Use analytics to understand product behavior and motivate data-driven decisions
• Mentor and share your broad knowledge with more junior engineers

Staff Software Engineer, Backend

Data Scientist

• Drive causal and machine learning-based analyses to measure the impact of product features on user behavior, engagement, and business outcomes
• Partner closely with product, analytics engineering, and fellow data scientists
• Build in-house causal inference tools, define KPIs, build production-ready analytical workflows, and deliver high-quality, governed visualizations
• Design, implement, and productionalize statistically rigorous causal analyses
• Develop and maintain causal frameworks that link product interventions to behavioral change, engagement shifts, and business performance
• Validate causal findings through robustness checks, sensitivity analyses, and clear articulation of assumptions and limitations
• Design and deliver high-quality visualizations in Looker and Databricks
