About the role

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets in the UK region
  • Identify and engage potential customers within the recycling and waste management sectors
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, needs analysis, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing
  • Drive the RFQ/RFP process, including proposal preparation, responding to technical inquiries, and confirming orders
  • Provide technical consultation and product demonstrations to customers
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (CPM, service, and others) to ensure strong customer outcomes
  • Support and expand our network of agents and distributors
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine strategy
  • Represent TOMRA at industry events, trade shows, and conferences across the UK

Requirements

  • A degree is preferred, but relevant industry experience matters most
  • Experience in sales, business development, or a related commercial role
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and pipeline management fundamentals
  • Basic technical‑commercial literacy and a willingness to learn complex applications
  • Experience in the waste recycling or processing sectors
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50–70%)
  • Valid driving license
