About the role
- Contributing to and improving tombola's platform codebases
- Participating in agile processes — standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming
- Delivering solutions through PRs, pair programming, and collaborative code reviews
- Debugging and resolving issues across our applications
- Monitoring logs, metrics and application health
- Analysing requirements and creating prototypes for new features
- Supporting other teams to debug and fix deployed applications
- Investigating and resolving performance issues
- Sharing what you learn — documentation, knowledge sharing, and all
Requirements
- Around 2–3 years of development experience (or equivalent ability)
- Strong C# skills — this is our primary language on platform
- Good understanding of unit and integration testing, and why it matters
- Ability to write clean, robust, testable code in backend environments
- Comfortable working in a large codebase within an agile team
