About the role
- Responsible for generating qualified pipeline, focusing on strategic accounts and key decision-makers (Decision Makers), ensuring alignment between the client's context, timing, and Toku's value proposition.
- Deeply analyze target companies and markets, understanding organizational structure, strategic priorities, financial context, and operational challenges related to accounts receivable.
- Conduct high-level initial conversations with decision-makers (C-level, Heads, and Directors), exploring real business pain points, understanding root causes, and assessing strategic fit with Toku's solutions.
- Actively participate in client-facing interactions, including events, in-person meetings, and strategic sessions, focusing on pipeline generation, relationship building, and capturing market insights.
- Lead initial outbound meetings with a consultative approach, structuring the opportunity context and preparing the ground for business progression with Account Executives (AEs).
- Propose, test, and evolve prospecting approaches, messaging, and channels by industry and persona, share learnings, and contribute to the continuous evolution of go-to-market (GTM) theses.
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Product, and Operations teams, providing qualified market feedback and contributing to adjustments of pitch, positioning, and roadmap.
Requirements
- **Previous experience as a BDR for 3+ years**, with a consistent track record of generating qualified pipeline and solid knowledge of sales and qualification techniques (SPIN, BANT, or similar);
- **Analytical capability and structured curiosity:** ability to understand how and why markets, industries, and companies operate in certain ways;
- Autonomy and proactivity in seeking **knowledge**, including tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, etc.), the payments market, and target industries;
- Strong results orientation, with critical analysis of metrics such as conversion, opportunity quality, ICP fit, and sales team feedback;
- **Resilience and adaptability** to operate in a fast-growth environment with international expansion, quickly adjusting approaches based on customer needs and market learnings;
- **Discipline and consistency**, with the ability to maintain a high level of execution over time without losing strategic focus;
- Good communication skills and comfort interacting with decision-makers at different seniority levels;
- **Advanced Spanish and/or English** for internal communication with global teams.
