💰 $125,000 - $140,000 per year
About the role
- Support and manage firm-wide HR programs and initiatives
- Evaluate HR policies and procedures and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and employment regulations
- Manage recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes
- Partner with leadership to determine staffing needs and workforce planning
- Support retention and professional development initiatives
- Oversee employee relations matters and assist in resolving workplace conflicts
- Support disciplinary processes and performance evaluations
- Provide HR guidance to partners, attorneys, and staff
- Coordinate with payroll and benefits administration for firm benefit plans including 401(k) and profit-sharing programs
- Ensure proper handling of leave of absence requests and related compliance requirements
- Maintain and update job descriptions and role specifications
- Assist with integration and onboarding of new attorneys and staff
- Prepare HR reports and support leadership with workforce analytics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 4+ years of progressively responsible HR experience
- Experience working within legal or professional services organizations
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and compliance practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
