About the role

  • Support in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under HGB and IFRS
  • Tasks in ongoing accounting (HGB and, in future, also IFRS)
  • Processing and analysis of business transactions and resolving related queries
  • Point of contact for accounting and financial reporting questions for internal and external contacts, including auditors and tax advisors
  • Support for ongoing and upcoming projects
  • Support in the further development and digitization of accounting processes

Requirements

  • Successfully completed training as a certified balance-sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or equivalent qualification
  • Solid knowledge of financial statement preparation under HGB and IFRS
  • Practical experience in accounting under HGB and IFRS
  • Enthusiasm for optimizing internal processes
  • High level of accuracy and personal responsibility
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Experience with Business Central desirable
  • Experience with IFRS implementation desirable
