About the role
- Availability to work in a shift model, 5x2 schedule with weekend on-call duty;
- Perform operation and maintenance on Multivendor Backbone transport networks;
- Support deployment and engineering teams for new products/services across fixed, mobile and enterprise environments;
- Perform configuration on networks based on Multivendor equipment;
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on L2/L3 protocols and optical networks;
- Develop metrics for service-level analysis;
- Perform trend analysis and behavioral analysis based on statistical network and service data;
- Prepare, execute and support scheduled activities in the Backbone transport network;
- Develop and execute disaster recovery planning;
- Prepare technical reports;
- Perform logical acceptance of transport equipment and services.
Requirements
- Knowledge of programming languages and scripting;
- Availability to work shifts (night);
- Experience in operation and maintenance support for Multivendor transport networks for telecommunications operators;
- Experience in convergent environments covering fixed and mobile networks;
- Experience validating new solutions in production environments;
- Experience with IP + optical solutions;
- Experience with L2 and L3 protocols;
- Bachelor's degree.
