About the role

  • Handle day-to-day HR administration and office operations for the Germany branch and the regional support team, including full employee lifecycle management (onboarding, contract changes, offboarding)
  • Prepare, review, and manage employment contracts, amendments, certificates, and HR documentation in compliance with German labor law
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR and administrative matters at the Berlin office
  • Support payroll preparation by coordinating with external payroll providers and ensuring data accuracy
  • Manage absences, sick leave, vacation records, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Ensure compliance with German labor law, internal HR policies, and group standards
  • Support the Head of Regional HR Europe in regional HR and administration-related projects, such as organizational changes, process optimization, and HR digitalization initiatives
  • Assist with personnel measures including probation reviews, contract terminations, and disciplinary processes in coordination with regional HR and legal advisors
  • Coordinate communication with works councils, external advisors, and authorities when required
  • Support recruitment administration, including interview coordination, documentation, and onboarding processes
  • Maintain and update HR systems, personnel files, and internal HR reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in HR administration or HR operations, preferably in an international company
  • Solid knowledge of German labor law and HR compliance requirements
  • Experience working with external payroll providers and HR service partners
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with a high attention to detail
  • Hands-on, service-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent German and English language skills (both written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HR systems is an advantage.
