About the role
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using JavaScript (Cypress) and Flutter using Patrol for web and mobile applications
- Own a central suite of end to end tests covering shared functionality such as authentication and authorization
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and rapid releases
- Ensure e2e tests are stable and help engineers resolve intermittent failures
- Act as an ambassador for quality and promote an automation-first approach
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to design and build testable features
- Establish KPIs for test automation and coverage across product engineering teams to encourage continual improvement
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience ensuring quality in modern web, mobile and API based applications using test automation
- Strong automated UI testing experience using Typescript or Javascript, ideally using Cypress
- Experience with automated testing of mobile applications
- Experience with mobile app stores and a fully automated submissions process
- Familiarity with Gherkin
- Hands on experience of Github or another CI/CD tool
- Experience integrating testing into various stages of CI / CD pipelines
- Experience testing containerised applications and backend APIs
- Experience with AWS or GCP in the context of test automation
- Any experience of Flutter and Patrol is desirable
