💰 $120,000 - $140,000 per year

About the role

  • Perform accounting activities and support the preparation of consolidated financial reports
  • Responsible for a full range of professional accounting duties
  • Complete procedures to implement and support accurate inventory accounting
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and support the production of financial statements
  • Support company Controllers in preparation of monthly account reconciliations
  • Review financial activity in key areas including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and benefits and taxes
  • Collect and review monthly closing documentation for consolidation and audit
  • Do accounting research to determine proper accounting methods
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal control environment
  • Prepare documentation to support completion of audits and tax returns

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 6+ years of related experience, preferably in both public accounting and/or dynamic private company manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exhibits a high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite of products
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and balance priorities
  • Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and pride in delivering quality results
  • High level knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and cost accounting
  • Proven ability to effectively navigate various accounting and reporting software platforms.
