About the role
- Provide executive leadership and oversight of middle office operations, including trade support, reconciliation, clearing and settlement, collateral management, and cash movements
- Define and evolve the middle office operating model to support platform growth, new product launches, and increased trading complexity
- Establish, monitor, and report on measurable operational goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and strategic initiatives to drive efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and risk reduction
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective risk mitigation
- Partner closely with Trading and Portfolio Management leadership to ensure operational alignment with investment strategies and market activity
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of middle office professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, automation, and effective use of technology
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in investment operations, middle office, or post-trade functions with progressive leadership responsibility
- Demonstrated success leading, developing, and scaling teams in a regulated environment
- Deep understanding of trading operations across derivatives, fixed income, and securities markets
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; advanced degree or professional certification preferred
