About the role

  • Own the day-to-day execution and optimization of key employer brand channels, including LinkedIn and Glassdoor, using a data-driven approach to manage a recruitment marketing content calendar that brings Thumbtack’s mission, culture, and business priorities to life while driving measurable growth in engagement, reach, and brand perception.
  • Design and scale an employee advocacy program that empowers employees to authentically share Thumbtack’s story—providing toolkits, content, training, and measurement frameworks to amplify reach, deepen credibility, and strengthen talent attraction.
  • Develop data-informed campaigns and storytelling initiatives that increase brand awareness, strengthen talent attraction, and improve key recruiting metrics.
  • Lead award submissions and third-party recognition programs to grow Thumbtack’s “best place to work” reputation and industry visibility.
  • Track performance across channels and advocacy programs, analyze results, and translate insights into recommendations that continuously optimize employer brand investments and impact.

Requirements

  • Strong ownership of end-to-end programs, managing multiple mid-to-large scale initiatives simultaneously while maintaining quality, timelines, and proactive stakeholder alignment across cross-functional partners.
  • A strategic and data-informed mindset, using performance metrics and market insights to refine messaging, optimize channel execution, and improve talent outcomes.
  • Persuasive communication skills that distill complex ideas into clear, audience-specific content and effectively influence cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Confidence in navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities, proactively identifying solutions, aligning stakeholders, and driving momentum without waiting for direction.
  • The ability to build and sustain trusted partnerships across Recruiting, Brand, Communications, Employee Experience, and external agencies to ensure cohesive messaging and seamless execution.
  • A balance of creativity and operational rigor, ensuring campaigns and storytelling are both inspiring, measurable, and aligned to business priorities.
