About the role
- This role is responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with Franchisors across North America.
- The primary objective is to secure new clients and enhance the existing franchise footprint to meet a predetermined sales quota.
- The Software Account Executive conducts greater than 50% of their work outside of their home office.
- Contacts assigned franchise leads to secure new SaaS clients by utilizing established sales processes, including providing sound recommendations through a consultative approach.
- Recommend solutions that address the client’s needs.
- Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the franchises.
- Meets and exceeds sales quotas by driving brand awareness and lead generation via Franchisee referrals, tradeshows, associations, creating and leading webinars and formal presentations, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Executes all defined operational processes and requirements with excellence (i.e., designed cadences for client and prospect engagement, ongoing product and demo certifications, order entry requirements, centralized intake forms, etc.).
- Participates in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
- Travel between 50-75% of the time.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in outbound sales required (preferably in a SaaS role or company)
- 4+ years of related experience required (7+ years preferred)
- Manage and grow customer accounts by building strong relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering strategic solutions that drive retention and revenue expansion
- Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite
- Associate’s degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience required
