About the role

  • Deliver unscripted, end-to-end phone-based customer care for Thrivent clients
  • Build rapport with diverse callers and navigate multiple systems to find solutions
  • Focus on quality and first-call resolution while managing Average Handle Time
  • Receive structured onboarding/training, mentoring, and ongoing career progression
  • Opportunity to specialize in Thrivent products (annuities, insurance, mutual funds, beneficiary claims)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience (post-secondary education preferred)
  • Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Customer service, financial services, or insurance experience preferred
  • Experience navigating complex customer interactions from support through to resolution
  • Ability to welcome change and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
  • Ability to work training hours (8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. CST) and full-time schedule after training (9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. CST)
  • Remote work setup required: private secure workspace, reliable power, wired ethernet, 30 Mbps down/10 Mbps up
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
