About the role
- Prepare and distribute weekly KPI reports to management and stakeholders
- Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities and risks
- Create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting activities
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide insights on business performance
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports as requested by management
- Process and record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Verify the accuracy of transaction data and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain transaction records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
- Reconcile accounts and ensure all transactions are properly classified
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Calculate and process affiliate commission payments accurately and on schedule
- Maintain accurate records of affiliate agreements, commission structures, and payment terms
- Reconcile affiliate payment data with sales and revenue reports
- Respond to affiliate payment inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Generate affiliate performance reports and commission statements
- Collaborate with the affiliate management team to ensure payment accuracy
- Design, develop, and maintain weekly KPI dashboards and reports
- Ensure KPI reports are accurate, timely, and delivered to appropriate stakeholders
- Track performance against targets and highlight areas requiring attention
- Continuously improve KPI reporting processes and visualization methods
- Present findings and recommendations based on KPI analysis
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Monitor actual performance against budget and identify variances
- Provide analysis and commentary on budget variances to department heads
- Support strategic planning initiatives with financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
- Maintain and optimize financial systems, tools, and reporting templates
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all financial systems
- Document financial processes and procedures to maintain operational consistency
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation
- Maintain proper internal controls and segregation of duties
- Assist in implementing and monitoring internal control procedures
- Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and provide insights
- Support business units with financial analysis for decision-making
- Communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as required
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes
- Provide backup support for other finance team members as needed
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Accounts Manager or CEO
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or CMA (in progress or completed)
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Experience in e-commerce, SaaS, or technology companies
- Knowledge of affiliate marketing payment structures and commission calculations
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with SQL or other database query languages
- Understanding of payment processing systems and financial platforms
