About the role

  • Design, develop, and test software solutions that meet user and business needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and system issues
  • Collaborate closely with a small, high-impact engineering team to build and support SaaS products
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Design, and other teams to shape feature requirements and technical solutions
  • Review and test code contributions through pull requests and conduct peer feedback
  • Mentor and pair with junior engineers to support team growth and skill development
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards in code quality, testing, and reliability
  • Help design, build, and test applications for both customers and internal users

Requirements

  • Strong JavaScript experience across both client and server side, including API development and integration
  • Solid foundation in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering degree
  • 4–6 years of professional experience building applications used by real customers
  • Proven ability to build and deliver complex web systems, including frontend development with modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular
  • Backend work with Node.js and APIs
  • Experience with self-sufficient testing and debugging (working without a dedicated QA team)
  • Skilled communicator and collaborator
  • Team-oriented mindset with bias for action and comfort in fast-paced environments
  • Additional preferred: Experience with Python and FastAPI
  • Familiarity with legal tech or legal SaaS products
