About the role

  • Build and maintain systems that power customer onboarding, shopping, and purchase flows for insurance products
  • Work on high-visibility initiatives, including revamping pre-sale flows from scratch
  • Address technical debt and fix inconsistencies and bugs
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to improve conversion and user experience
  • Contribute to both frontend (React/React Native) and backend (Node.js, Nest.js) development

Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience (SDE I) or at least 2 years experience (SDE II) building production-grade software
  • Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and systems design
  • Comfortable working asynchronously across teams and time zones
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solver who enjoys tackling ambiguous problems
  • Ownership and responsibility for outcomes and system improvement
  • Curiosity and adaptability to explore new tools and understand the bigger picture
