About the role
- As a Human Resources Generalist in the People Operations department, you will be responsible for a wide range of human resources duties including employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance.
- Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Manage the unemployment claim process.
- Support worker’s compensation, leaves of absence and benefits administration.
- Work with leaders and staff to foster positive employee relations and resolve conflicts.
- Conduct thorough, unbiased employee investigations and recommend course of action.
- Maintain HR file compliance by conducting background rechecks, interpreting results and assisting with audit preparation.
- Recredential staff as applicable.
- Responsible for full cycle recruitment, pre-employment and onboarding.
- Research and develop job descriptions for new or changing roles within the organization.
- Use a trauma-informed approach in their daily work and interactions with others using the principles of CARE: Developmentally Focused, Family Involved, Relationship Based, Competence Centered, Trauma Informed, and Ecologically Oriented.
- Contribute to a positive team culture through your actions, attitude, and communications.
- Consistently deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of four years’ experience in the human resources field.
- Must have at least one year of experience in employee relations, conducting full investigations.
- Must have at least two years’ of experience with full cycle recruitment, onboarding and background checks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software.
- Experience working with automated human resource management systems.
- Reside in Tampa, FL or Orlando, FL
- Must have a valid Driver License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the department you are in.
- All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.
