About the role
- Prepare grant invoices, cost reimbursement requests, and required financial reports
- Track grant expenditures and compare spending to approved budgets
- Reconcile grant revenue and receivables
- Maintain grant project codes and internal tracking tools
- Track grant invoicing and reporting deadlines
- Prepare budget-to-actual reports for program leaders and leadership
- Maintain documentation supporting grant expenditures and compliance requirements
- Assist with preparation of schedules and documentation for financial and single audits
- Provide financial information to support proposal development when needed
Requirements
- Must have a valid North Carolina Driver License.
- Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field required and at least 2-3 years of professional experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Additional relevant accounting or grant management experience may substitute for education
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, especially excel
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Commitment to ethical practice and collaborative teamwork
- Charlotte location is highly preferred.
- Able to come to the office in Matthews, NC at least 1 time per month
