Account Executive

• Achieve or exceed annual sales targets and growth objectives within the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan that prioritizes account retention, penetration, and new customer acquisition.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with researchers, lab managers, procurement professionals, and other key decision-makers.
• Conduct regular in-person and virtual customer visits to understand workflows, identify needs, and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through quoting, negotiation, and close.
• Partner with supplier representatives and internal specialists to deliver joint sales calls, product demonstrations, and technical support.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of customer activity, opportunities, and forecasts in Salesforce.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback; communicate insights to sales leadership and category management.
• Collaborate with customer experience, pricing, and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and timely issue resolution.
• Represent Thomas Scientific at trade shows, vendor days, and customer events as needed.
