Head of Brand - Brand Lead

Backend Engineer

• Design, build, and operate the feed services that serve market data across Egypt, UAE, US, and soon KSA, processing large volumes of data and events with very low latency and high reliability.
• Keep the feed available and correct when things break, owning the SLOs and overall health of your services, with strong observability, sensible on-call, and graceful failover when a provider drops or infrastructure gives out mid-market.
• Understand the different databases and data models we use, Redis, ClickHouse, and Postgres, how each behaves, and when to reach for which.
• Own the infrastructure the feed runs on. Understand how data reaches us from each provider, and build in redundancy where it matters so a single upstream failure never takes us down.
• Identify technical debt and reliability risks in your area and steadily improve the systems you own.
• Raise the bar on quality and operational discipline, and support the engineers around you through code and design reviews and pairing.

Senior Backend Engineer – Feed Squad

• Design, build, and operate the services that move money in and out of Thndr, including deposits, withdrawals, settlement, and reconciliation, across Egypt and the UAE.
• Own the correctness and reliability of these systems end to end. Money that flows through your code has to land in the right place, in the right amount, every time.
• Build and maintain integrations with banks, payment gateways, payment providers, and asset managers, and handle the messy realities that come with them: timeouts, partial failures, retries, and the occasional provider that goes down at the worst possible moment.
• Raise the bar on quality and operational discipline, with strong observability, sensible on-call, thorough testing, and systems that fail safely when something goes wrong.
• Partner closely with our finance and operations teams, and help bring the same connectivity and rigor to Saudi Arabia as we expand.

Senior Backend Engineer – Money Movements

Security Engineer

• Work closely with product and engineering teams to review new features and suggest improvements for security.
• Drive S-SDLC in cycles and review security acceptance criteria and threat modeling.
• Guide and train the team to ensure security best practices are followed.
• Perform pre-deployment and post-deployment security penetration tests.
• Plan and execute regular security assessments and pen tests.
• Work closely with Infrastructure teams to identify security issues through red teaming activities.
• Define, implement, and monitor infrastructure security measures.
• Contribute to the security roadmap & backlog.
• Support in managing Bug-bounty program and security channels.

Senior Security Engineer

Engineering Manager

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers who build and operate our trading platform.
• Own the reliability, throughput, latency, and correctness of systems that execute real trades, in real time, with real money on the line.
• Own the team's roadmap, partner with product and engineering to build the core components their plans depend on, and maintain the technical priorities that keep our core services healthy.
• Partner directly with the technical teams at the exchanges, with asset managers, and with regulators across Egypt and the UAE, and help us bring that same connectivity to Saudi Arabia.
• Maintain and evolve our in-house oms and back-office across markets as we scale into new geographies, and build more advanced trading functionalities.
• Set technical direction alongside our staff engineers, raise the bar on quality and operational excellence, and keep the team unblocked and moving.
• Balance hands-on technical depth with people leadership, staying close enough to the architecture to make good calls while giving the team the room to do their best work.

Engineering Manager, Trading

3D Artist

• Develop creative concepts that solve communication problems through motion.
• Turn briefs into visual stories by exploring ideas, creating storyboards, and presenting creative directions before production begins.
• Design and animate content across product launches, brand campaigns, educational content, social media, events, and presentations.
• Collaborate with copywriters, designers, video creatives, marketers, and product teams from concept to final delivery.
• Ask the right questions to uncover the real problem before proposing creative solutions.
• Present and explain your creative thinking, not just your final work.
• Create motion that is clear, engaging, and purposeful—not animation for its own sake.
• Maintain a high standard of craft across animation, typography, composition, pacing, transitions, and sound.
• Help evolve Thndr's motion language, systems, and creative standards.
• Explore new techniques, tools, and AI workflows that improve the quality or speed of the work.
• Create 3D motion and animation where it strengthens the idea. (Bonus)

Motion Designer

Analyst

• Support in auditing completed funding requests and unallocated transactions for accuracy and compliance, working closely with senior analysts.
• Learn and assist in daily Payment Operations reconciliation and Transaction Monitoring across multiple markets (Egypt, UAE, KSA).
• Help monitor automated funding channels and operational scripts, learning how to identify and escalate anomalies to senior team members.
• Contribute to root cause analysis of agent errors and participate in process improvement initiatives under the guidance of the team.
• Assist in maintaining and updating operational data sets and documentation to ensure data integrity.
• Participate in Funding Audit checks and assist the team with QA Operations reporting.
