About the role
- Provide advisory support, analysis, and implementation assistance aligned with country-specific requests.
- Maintain proactive communication with partner institutions and BACKUP Health.
- Produce assignment-specific reports and deliverables per TO.
- Each TO will specify deliverables, which may include: Assignment work plan and timeline, Technical deliverables (analyses, tools, datasets, training materials), Mission reports and debriefs, Final technical report summarizing outcomes, recommendations, and lessons learned, Handover documents and presentations.
Requirements
- Must have a degree in one of the following: Public health, Medicine, Health informatics, Environmental health, Social sciences, Political science or Economics
- Must have English fluency; strong preference for fluency in French, Russian, or Portuguese
- Three (3) experts must have 7+ years in digitalisation in health systems (eHealth, mHealth, HIS, data governance) or climate & health (climate resilience, environmental determinants, One Health).
- Must have 5+ years of experience in LMICs related to digitalisation in health systems or climate & health.
- Must have 7+ years of professional experience in Anglophone Africa, Francophone Western or Central Africa, Eastern Europe & Central Asia or Mozambique.
