About the role
- - Process end-to-end payroll for multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- - Maintain payroll records, employee data, and related documentation.
- - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- - Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- - Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and management professionally.
- - Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits or internal reporting.
- - Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation, tax laws, and best practices.
Requirements
- - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- - 2–4 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-state environment.
- - Strong knowledge of payroll systems and processes.
- - Proficiency in MS Office; experience with payroll software is a plus.
- - Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- - Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
