About the role

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using ADF and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, procedures, and functions.
  • Perform database administration tasks—user management, backups, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency across multiple systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable data solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot ETL pipelines and database performance.
  • Utilize Azure cloud services for scalable data storage and processing.
  • Document processes, workflows, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL Development.
  • Strong expertise in ETL tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF) or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Proficiency in SQL Development.
  • Experience with data modelling, query optimisation, and database performance tuning.
  • Hands-on exposure to Azure, with working knowledge of Synapse and SQL.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD for data workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
