About the role

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to a team of 6 people covering UK, IE and Nordics
  • Guide business growth, meet revenue targets, and ensure customer satisfaction through the expansion of rapid NGS solutions into Oncology, Reproductive Health and custom solutions
  • Work in a collaborative matrix environment with sales, marketing, product management, and other cross-functional teams
  • Implement commercial strategies and develop market opportunities
  • Utilize data-driven insights to enhance sales processes, maintain robust forecasting, and adapt strategies to meet evolving market demands
  • Build strong customer relationships and support key accounts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or related scientific field
  • 12+ years of progressive commercial experience in life sciences, analytical instruments, or related industry
  • 3+ years of people management experience leading teams in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and guiding business growth
  • Experience implementing commercial strategies and tactical business plans
  • Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and sales operations processes
  • Deep understanding of scientific workflows, applications, and customer needs in relevant markets
  • Strong strategic planning and business acumen with ability to analyze market trends
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage at all levels
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Technical expertise in relevant product portfolios and applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and business intelligence tools
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
  • Solution-focused with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
