About the role
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to a team of 6 people covering UK, IE and Nordics
- Guide business growth, meet revenue targets, and ensure customer satisfaction through the expansion of rapid NGS solutions into Oncology, Reproductive Health and custom solutions
- Work in a collaborative matrix environment with sales, marketing, product management, and other cross-functional teams
- Implement commercial strategies and develop market opportunities
- Utilize data-driven insights to enhance sales processes, maintain robust forecasting, and adapt strategies to meet evolving market demands
- Build strong customer relationships and support key accounts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or related scientific field
- 12+ years of progressive commercial experience in life sciences, analytical instruments, or related industry
- 3+ years of people management experience leading teams in a matrix environment
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and guiding business growth
- Experience implementing commercial strategies and tactical business plans
- Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and sales operations processes
- Deep understanding of scientific workflows, applications, and customer needs in relevant markets
- Strong strategic planning and business acumen with ability to analyze market trends
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage at all levels
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Technical expertise in relevant product portfolios and applications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and business intelligence tools
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
- Solution-focused with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
