About the role

  • Drive sales of laboratory informatics software and automation solutions, including laboratory robotics, workflow management systems, and integrated digital platforms
  • Proactively manage the sales cycle—lead generation, qualification, discovery, and closure—across assigned territories
  • Conduct outbound campaigns and follow up on inbound inquiries to identify customer needs and propose appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate with Field Account Managers and Product Specialists to coordinate territory strategy, product demonstrations, and joint sales calls
  • Maintain accurate sales activities and opportunity tracking within Salesforce CRM
  • Provide consultative guidance to customers, aligning software capabilities with laboratory workflows and compliance needs
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Build strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and long-term partnerships

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or computer science discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in software, SaaS, or laboratory informatics and automation solutions
  • Proven success in outbound sales, pipeline development, and closing business remotely
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com and virtual engagement tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
  • Experience selling to scientific, technical, or IT stakeholders is strongly preferred.
