About the role

  • Lead a team of product managers responsible for defining and implementing the chemical strategy
  • Provide pricing leadership and facilitate commercial operations accountability
  • Develop and maintain an effective go to market strategy
  • Work cross functionally with various departments in support of lifecycle management and new product introduction
  • Develop and own the product roadmap for the chemical portfolio
  • Drive innovation by identifying new product opportunities
  • Develop pricing and packaging strategies that optimize product adoption
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers and partners
  • Define and track key performance metrics for products
  • Partner with the operations and supply chain to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or related scientific field preferred
  • Advanced Degree preferred
  • 10 years of experience in progressive product management in chemicals, life sciences, scientific instruments, or related industry
  • Successful track record in product management and/or strategic marketing
  • Proven ability to manage cost and drive organic growth through innovation and profit
  • Ability to build, lead, and influence teams across a matrixed environment
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience managing global teams
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed global organization
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to drive data-based decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Demonstrated success in developing teams
  • Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements (ISO, CE, FDA, etc.)
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% nationally & internationally
  • Strong project management capabilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with financial modeling and business case development
