About the role
- Serve as the primary liaison for the executive sales team across Portfolio Management, Finance, Legal, Cross Reference, and Pricing functions
- Lead and develop Business Solutions (Implementations) team and RFP Authoring team
- Act as chief HSE representative on large group PPI projects and cross-functional collaborations
- Lead organizational-level initiatives (e.g., RAIL) with end-to-end project management accountability
- Partner with the HSE team to craft executive-level business reviews and deliver ad hoc analytical reporting
- Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure successful implementation of customer agreements and enterprise solutions
- Provide strategic insights that differentiate customer segments, product portfolios, contract structures, and GPO/Consortium positioning by region
- Elevate commercial execution through strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and business acumen
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of progressive relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Customer-facing leadership experience within a commercial environment
- Experience within Thermo Fisher Scientific or strong familiarity with internal business structures preferred
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced understanding of Thermo Fisher internal data systems
- Strong working knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau
- Experience navigating Salesforce and leveraging CRM data effectively
- Strong executive presence with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities
- High level of business acumen
