About the role
- Contribute to crafting and delivering impactful stories that connect colleagues to our Mission of making the world healthier, cleaner and safer
- Develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies that engage employees across all levels of the organization
- Focus on reaching diverse audiences including manufacturing teams and those with limited computer access
- Work with senior business leaders to translate complex business strategies and scientific innovations into compelling narratives
- Manage multi-channel communications campaigns that highlight customer success stories, product launches, and organizational initiatives
- Foster an inclusive culture of engagement and recognition
- Collaborate with communications colleagues on company-wide initiatives
- Guide creative storytelling efforts and support employee engagement through various channels including town halls, digital platforms, and leadership communications
- Serve as a key partner in change management initiatives and organizational transformations, ensuring clear and effective message distribution throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or public relations
- Preferred Fields of Study: Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field
- Strong strategic communication planning and execution capabilities
- Excellence in writing, editing, and content development across multiple channels and formats
- Experience partnering with senior executives and developing content in their voice and style
- Proven ability to translate technical and complex topics into clear, engaging content
- Expertise in managing digital communication platforms including intranets and social media
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Experience in change management communications and organizational transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships
- Strong presentation and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities
- Ability to measure and analyze communications effectiveness
- Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or scientific industry preferred
- Travel may be required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening.
