About the role
- Build strong understanding of assigned customers and their marketplaces through a broad range of information sources.
- Actively solicit existing and potential new customers to gain commitment to our services.
- Lead all new business development activities inside assigned accounts, culminating in new contract agreements.
- Develop and manage efficient account development plan; track progress against key account development milestones.
- Prepare call plans to effectively manage time spent with customers for maximum sales impact.
- Ensure effective cross-divisional and global coordination with applicable stakeholders.
- Provide realistic sales forecasts to management and communicate any significant changes proactively.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor degree.
- Years of Experience: > 5-6 yrs of direct sales experience in relevant industry, working experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Knowledge: Preferred knowledge in Clinical service industry, Clinical Study or CRO/CDMO industry, supply chain management.
- Competency: Strong communication skills in Chinese and reading and writing skills in business English, presentation skills, influencing skills, drive for results, ability to work independently and as a team member. Ability to work in complex, matrix environment with clients and internally at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
