About the role

  • Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Customer Experience Specialist I, where you'll contribute to delivering exceptional customer service while supporting our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
  • You'll serve as a liaison between customers, sales teams, and operations, managing the end-to-end order fulfillment process with a focus on building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • As a customer advocate, you'll process and monitor orders, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
  • You'll analyze data, create reports, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards of accuracy and service quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related field
  • Additional certifications in customer service or project management are beneficial
  • 2 years prior customer service experience
  • Proficiency in enterprise systems including SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Experience in order processing and customer service operations
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of cGMP and quality system standards preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated success in meeting service level agreements and performance metrics
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy
  • Basic understanding of supply chain and order fulfillment processes
