About the role
- Drive revenue growth by developing and managing strategic customer relationships across our Bioproduction portfolio
- Act as a trusted advisor to biopharmaceutical and biotechnology customers, supporting upstream and downstream bioprocessing workflows
- Manage complex sales cycles, engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Collaborate internally to ensure customers receive appropriate technical and commercial support throughout evaluations, trials, and projects
- Provide accurate sales forecasting, opportunity management, lost-order analysis, and competitive intelligence
- Analyze territory performance, customer data, and market trends to drive strategic planning and execution
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience in bioproduction, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or related life science industries
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing strategic accounts
- Established relationships with upstream and downstream process development teams within biopharmaceutical accounts
- Strong technical knowledge of cell and gene therapy, recombinant proteins, monoclonal antibodies, and associated bioprocessing workflows
- Ability to translate customer needs into value-based, technically sound solutions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical and sales data
- Experience using CRM systems (preferably Salesforce.com) and Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Fluency in German and English
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively (50–75%) within the assigned region
