About the role

  • Drive revenue growth by developing and managing strategic customer relationships across our Bioproduction portfolio
  • Act as a trusted advisor to biopharmaceutical and biotechnology customers, supporting upstream and downstream bioprocessing workflows
  • Manage complex sales cycles, engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Collaborate internally to ensure customers receive appropriate technical and commercial support throughout evaluations, trials, and projects
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, opportunity management, lost-order analysis, and competitive intelligence
  • Analyze territory performance, customer data, and market trends to drive strategic planning and execution

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in bioproduction, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or related life science industries
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing strategic accounts
  • Established relationships with upstream and downstream process development teams within biopharmaceutical accounts
  • Strong technical knowledge of cell and gene therapy, recombinant proteins, monoclonal antibodies, and associated bioprocessing workflows
  • Ability to translate customer needs into value-based, technically sound solutions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical and sales data
  • Experience using CRM systems (preferably Salesforce.com) and Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively (50–75%) within the assigned region
