About the role

  • Identify innovative and leading sourcing solutions for clinical trial suppliers.
  • Serve as the advocate for suppliers to customer facing teams.
  • Co-ordinate with the Quality department on supplier status and performance.
  • Find sourcing solutions/strategies for identified products in collaboration with Strategic Sourcing and Market Intelligence.
  • Maintain existing supplier accounts within different regions for competitive sourcing.
  • Negotiate prices and cash discounts with suppliers.
  • Participate/lead Supplier Business review meetings for improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor supplier spend, performance, and capabilities.
  • Support Client Services and participate in teleconferences for proposal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain for timely product deliveries and support.

Requirements

  • Very good understanding of Clinical Trials Supplies and Pharmaceutical Logistics with current experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize within established timescales.
  • Very good communication and negotiation skills (verbal & written).
  • Fluent English language (verbal & written).
  • German language of benefit.
